L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids
In 2018, Mike and Nancy Fujii founded the Family Peace Center to support families with biblical counseling, a children’s ministry, and parenting resources through their L.I.G.H.T. (Living in God’s Holy Truth)® program. As their kids’ ministry grew, they launched L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids® to help families, schools, churches, and communities teach children Christian values and Christlike character. Kingdom Kids is a division of the Family Peace Center.
NANCY FUJII
Founder, L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids®
Co-Founder, Family Peace Center
Since coming to faith in 2011, Nancy has dedicated her ministry to helping children grow in Christ by nurturing their spiritual formation, emotional well-being, and everyday discipleship. She teaches kids how to navigate big feelings, develop Christlike character, and build a faith that guides how they live and love.
In 2023, she launched L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids®, equipping parents, schools, and churches with practical, faith-based resources for children’s discipleship.
Nancy holds a B.A. in Christian Counseling and certification in Christian spiritual formation and leadership from the Dallas Willard School for Kingdom Living. Her passion is to raise up the next generation to walk in truth and reflect Christ in every area of life.
MICHAEL P. FUJII
Co-Founder, Chairman & President Family Peace Center
Michael P. Fujii is the Co-Founder, President, and Chairman of the Board of the Family Peace Center, Inc. (FPC). In this role, he leads the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring its mission and vision are clearly communicated and faithfully implemented. For the Kingdom Kids® program, Mike plays a key role in reviewing content to ensure the Christian doctrine is biblically sound and aligned with foundational truths of the faith.
Mike brings over 50 years of leadership experience in the specialty property and casualty insurance industry. He currently serves as President and CEO of Berkley Custom Insurance Managers LLC, a W.R. Berkley Corporation company, and has spent more than three decades as a CEO and board member in the industry.
A committed Christian leader, Mike also serves on local and global nonprofit boards, including Life Line Chaplaincy, Inc., which supports the emotional and spiritual well-being of Fairfield County’s first responders and India 600 Inc., which supports church planting in Gurgaon, North India.
Mike holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University. His passion is to see families and communities transformed through Christ-centered leadership, sound doctrine, and compassionate service.

We create resources that help children build a biblical foundation and equip parents, teachers, and church leaders for everyday discipleship. All of our materials grow out of our Feelings–Faith–Character framework and follow a simple CTMP approach—Connect, Teach, Model, Pray.
