L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids®

In 2018, Mike and Nancy Fujii founded the Family Peace Center to help families grow in God-centered relationships through biblical counseling, children’s ministry, and parenting resources. Their work began with a desire to support marriages, parenting, and family life through their L.I.G.H.T. (Living in God’s Holy Truth)® program.

As their children’s ministry grew, they expanded their focus to include whole-child discipleship, Christlike character, and biblical resources that help children grow in faith, navigate their emotions, build healthy relationships, and follow Jesus in everyday life. During and after the pandemic, this work continued to grow as they served students facing isolation, loneliness, and the need for deeper relational and spiritual support.

In 2023, they launched L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids® as a division of the Family Peace Center to help families, schools, churches, and communities teach children to know God, grow in Christ, and live out their faith with Christlike character. Today, L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids® continues to develop resources and partnerships that equip adults to disciple children with biblical truth, emotional wisdom, and a vision for lasting faith. Our ministry is rooted in Scripture, informed by the historic Christian faith, and expressed through whole-child discipleship.

NANCY FUJII

Founder, L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids®

Co-Founder, Family Peace Center

Nancy Fujii is an author, children’s teacher, and founder of L.I.G.H.T. Kingdom Kids®, a Scripture-based ministry that helps parents, schools, and churches nurture children’s faith, feelings, and Christlike character through whole-child discipleship.

Since coming to faith in 2011, she has dedicated her ministry to helping children know God, grow in Christ, and live out their faith. Her approach goes beyond teaching Bible lessons by equipping families and teachers to disciple the whole child through a ministry that is rooted in Scripture, informed by the historic Christian faith, and expressed through whole-child formation.

Nancy holds a B.A. in Christian Counseling and is currently studying at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her passion is to equip families and teachers with practical, Christ-centered resources that help children think biblically, grow in faith, and reflect Christ in everyday life.

MICHAEL P. FUJII

Co-Founder, Chairman & President Family Peace Center

Michael P. Fujii is the Co-Founder, President, and Chairman of the Board of the Family Peace Center, Inc. (FPC). In this role, he leads the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring its mission and vision are clearly communicated and faithfully implemented. For the Kingdom Kids® program, Mike plays a key role in reviewing content to ensure the Christian doctrine is biblically sound and aligned with foundational truths of the faith.

Mike brings over 50 years of leadership experience in the specialty property and casualty insurance industry. He currently serves as President and CEO of Berkley Custom Insurance Managers LLC, a W.R. Berkley Corporation company, and has spent more than three decades as a CEO and board member in the industry.

Mike serves as an elder at Beacon Hill Church in Monroe, Connecticut, where he provides preaching support. His sermons are available through the Family Peace Center sermon page. Mike also serves on the board of India 600 Inc., which supports church planting in Gurgaon, North India.

Mike holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University. His passion is to see families and communities transformed through Christ-centered leadership, sound doctrine, and compassionate service.
